What is Wireframe?

At first sight:

  • An important tool for the design and development of the product.

  • Wireframes are drafts for design. You can start by drawing on a sheet of paper (template papers created for mobile and desktop) or you can improve your project drafts with better quality transitions, animations, and content production with other methods and software.

  • Wireframes lead to review people (from designers to stakeholders) about the project process and so they can put together overlooked details.

  • It provides a more controlled path in the time-budget balance as possible deficiencies, correction, and intervention.

So why is wireframing so important?

First of all, we can start to create our first drafts by transferring the information obtained as a result of studies such as planning and business analyzes from the customer and target audience oriented researches to the design/developer team.

Here are a few things to consider at the beginning:

  • Who/What is this product’s goal?

  • What features this product has?

  • How to use visual language efficiently?

  • It is really hard to design elements in a proper hierarchy, isnt’ it?

  • Interacting with the components, and how this can have consequences for the user

and ultimately the users’ experiences through pros and cons will be affecting our product development process.
